I absolutely love hogs that blend from shoulder to rib like this barrow does. He to is a big topped, thick hipped barrow that has awesome width from blade-knee-to ground. A future player indeed.

Thanks to Tom Moyer & Sons for their $65,000 purchase of "Dead On". He is a Recovery x Darkside (Hampshire) x Freakshow
(Duroc) x Alias (littermate to the 106's)

"Dead On" was the end goal when I bred our best cross sow 106-9 to a Duroc. "Dead On" was single trait bred for bone with selection for width and muscle every generation. "Dead On" will be a total outcross in most herds and will truely inject structure into anyone's program.

Recovery has now made these outstanding herd boars:

"Recon" at Iffts
"Legend" at Grimms
"Rename" at Upper Hand
Recovery in just 2010 has already sired the Grand barrow at the National
Western and the Star of Texas

When people call to ask about Recovery, we tell them to protect him on width and muscle. People then may tell themselves he is narrow and light muscled.  However, he is still wider and heavier muscled than 80% of
all boars and he is bigger boned, sounder, and stouter featured than 99%
of them. When we describe our hogs we tell it like it is and not how you may want to hear it because our end goal (and probably your's) is to produce winning barrows. Good balanced, sound, wide and moderate barrows will continue to surface. But, if you have an edge in bone, you
will have the final piece that most barrows don't have. Recovery and his sons will give you that edge.
