Monson Boars...
We maintain a battery of boars for the purpose of providing semen to
purebred and show pig producers. All boars are PRRS negative. All boars in
stud are used on our own sows. We select purebred boars on the basis they
will sire elite females which are the backbone of all great boars.
Collection days are Sunday night and Wednesday night due to us working off
the farm. Please call Monday and Thursday morning by 8:00 am to place
orders. Semen is available all days of the week. Semen can be picked up,
delivered or shipped via UPS. Volume discounts are available. Breeding
Certificates are $20 |

This is the one I have been trying to make. This guy was a standout before his navel was dry. I have always kept her d boars that looked good on the sow and Remedy was one I have always liked.
Remedy is a boar with more frame than most, but when we look at how small some of these hogs are getting we are going to need that soon.
Remedy is a total package boar with excellent feet and legs. Square from top to bottom, level from shoulder to rump, the right amount of muscle, excellent appetite, heavy bonework, big even toes, clean attractive head and neck, wide chest floor, and good rib and flank.
